Being organized is very difficult for many students. An organization tool is needed for many students to succeed in their classes. However, many have never heard of one of the best tools. Trello is a tool that could help many people organize all of their work in multiple different ways. There are many ways Trello can be more beneficial than an average agenda, and help you achieve academically.

Differences From Standard Agendas

The main difference between the two is the way work is viewed. In a standard agenda, the main way to organize your work is to write each assignment on a separate line. However, the way Trello works is very different. Trello assignments are broken up into 3 categories: To Do, Doing, and Done. By breaking up work into these sections, it could make the work seem less strenuous and time-consuming. 

Group Work

A definite advantage of Trello is the ability to work with others. You can make an assignment that allows only a few contacts to be allowed access to. By doing this, you could greatly save the hassle of having to remember exactly who you are working with on every assignment. 

Are Paid Plans Worth It?

Trello offers 2 paid plans: Business Class and Enterprise. Business Class is $9.99 a month for the annual plan, and $12.50 a month for the monthly plan. The Enterprise plan changes cost depending on the number of users. For 20 users, the cost is $20.33 per user per month, while for 2000 users, the cost goes down to $8.54 per user per month. However, regardless of the plan, all users will have unlimited personal boards, cards, and lists.

It seems like the paid versions would be quite useful in a business situation. Whether it is part of a corporation or part of a home business, it would be an important investment. However, it seems like the free version would be perfectly fine for the average consumer. 

Overall, Trello is an amazing application that many people are unfortunately unaware of. Trello can help you organize your work in a unique way. Having people space their work into 3 sections can definitely help them focus. After using Trello for an extended period of time, many users might not be able to use any other type of agenda.
